Assistant Pastor with responsibility for ministry development

Prettygate Baptist Church is currently seeking to appoint a Godly and prayerful man to work alongside us in developing existing and new ministry opportunities among the church family and in our local community.

Within this role you would have the opportunity to:

  • Help to develop new and existing ministries both within the church family and the local community
  • Disciple and nurture new Christians in their spiritual growth
  • Preach, teach and lead church services
  • Work alongside our experienced and well respected pastor Peter Shirtcliffe in training potential preachers and
  • Be part of a forward thinking leadership team with God’s Word at the heart of all we are.
  • Pastor those in need of support and encouragement.

The successful applicant will:

  • Share our passion for Christ-exalting ministry, with enthusiasm for spreading the gospel.
  • Have a vision to encourage the church to grow in maturity and reach out effectively to those around us.
  • Have a heart for the spiritual welfare of people
