Sunday Service
A church isn’t a building. Church is a gathering of people who want to learn about and follow Jesus Christ. It’s a network of relationships based upon our relationship with Christ. So getting to know a church means getting to know the people who make up that church and the God who we worship and serve.
Our weekly Sunday service is open to all, whether you’ve been a Christian for years or you’re just exploring. Each week we gather together to sing, pray, hear a passage from the Bible read and explained (talks can be found here).
All are welcome, you don’t need to bring anything or wear formal clothes - come as you are and see what we’re about.
EVERY SUNDAY 10:30am
Children & Youth
Jesus had time for children and so do we! We want everyone, no matter their age, to be able to learn about Jesus and how to follow him.
Sunday School runs for primary school age children part way through the service (term time only) in the upstairs rooms.
On the first and third Sunday in a month Discoverers meets, a group for children in secondary school years 7-11.
(Both groups led by a fully DBS-checked team of church volunteers)
Students
We love to welcome students and over the past few years have had a number join us from the University of Essex.
If you are a student then know we are here for you and ready to welcome you into our church family - a place where you can grow in your Christian faith or explore Christianity for the first time.
